Insurance Inspections

CIS inspectors have the experience and qualifications to perform these inspections. Citizens Insurance also requires a separate electrical inspection be performed by an electrical contractor.

4 Point Inspection

Determine if an older home is in good enough condition to be a good insurance risk. The inspector examines the roof, electrical system, the plumbing system and the heating and air conditioning systems.

Wind Storm Mitigation

Evaluate if the roof system was built to standards to resist high winds such as those experienced in a hurricane. The homeowner could qualify for a reduction in insurance rate.

Wind Borne Debris Protection

Determine if a home has been equipped with shutters or impact resistant glazing. The homeowner could qualify for a reduction in insurance rate.

Tile Roof Inspection

Determine if a roofing system has been installed to resist high winds and includes secondary water resistance. The homeowner could qualify for a reduction in insurance rate.
